UIF & COIDA Registration

If you employ a domestic worker, gardener, nanny, or any other household staff, you're legally required to register for:

  • UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund): Ensures your employee receives temporary financial support if they become unemployed, go on maternity leave, or are unable to work due to illness or adoption leave.
  • COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act): Provides compensation in case your employee is injured or becomes ill as a result of their work duties.

We handle the entire registration process with the Department of Labour and the Compensation Fund, so you don’t have to navigate the red tape.

Monthly Payslip Processing & UIF Submissions

Employers are legally required to:

  • Pay UIF contributions (2% of the employee’s salary — 1% from the employer, 1% from the employee).
  • Submit monthly declarations to the UIF (via uFiling or approved channels).

  • Accurate UIF submissions and capturing of monthly contributions via UFiling.

UIF, PAYE & COIDA Registrations
